And the UK DMC winners are…
Friday the 29th June 2007 - Shepherds Bush Empire - shards of scratches were flying all over the place to decipher the next representatives of the UK at the World Championships in September. The results were as follows.

Absesses on my Birdy Nam Nam
For those of you asking “what the hell?” Birdy Nam Nam are a French turntablist crew that have been around the block a couple of times. They have a number of turntablist titles to their name including World DMC Team Champions in 2002. The following video is a piece called Absesses of their self-titled album released in 2006. For me it holds a eerie and dark sound that for some strange reason I really like. It is well composed and pulled off without a hitch.
Birdy Nam Nam is Crazy B, DJ Pone, Little Mike and DJ Need and in case you were wondering, their name is taken from a line in the 1968 Peter Sellers film The Party.
